For the eleventh day in a row, hospitalizations for COVID-19 are down in Louisiana.
The Louisiana Department of Health reports 1,335 people hospitalized, down 47 from yesterday. Since the uninterrupted downward trend began the weekend of August 1, the number of people hospitalized is down more than 200.
Louisiana reports more than 1,100 new coronavirus cases bringing the state's pandemic total to 133,125. Twenty-six more deaths brings the state's total to 4,195.
