
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office today announced three arrests in the August 8 shootings in Roseland that killed a 21-year-old woman. Zion Hutcherson of Baton Rouge died from a single gunshot wound.
After tips from the public, investigators developed a case against 30-year-old Brandon Perry of Roseland, 29-year-old Craig Brown of Amite, and 23-year-old Tommie Diamond of Kentwood.
Detectives also are seeking 19-year-old Jaylohn Mitchell of Ponchatoula and 27-year-old Raven Warford of Natalbany.
"We do not suspect that Hutcherson was an intended target in this incident," said sheriff's office spokeswoman Dawn Panepinto.
"The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for their assistance with this case," she said. "There was a large crowd surrounding the events that took place that day and we are grateful for those that came forward with information."
