Another lawsuit over the infamous NFC Championship Game no-call was in a New Orleans courtroom today.
North shore lawyer and Saints fan Tony LeMon says he is suing on behalf of a handful of season ticket owners, alleging fraud on the part of the NFL.
"It's almost as if we've been treated like the wicked stepchild of the NFL," LeMon told WWL-TV. "Not getting an apology, not getting an explanation, not having any kind of independent investigation of this, not having any kind of reparation to the Saints organization or to us fans who suffered greatly from what happened in this game"
LeMon said any damages awarded would go to local charities.
The league argues season ticket holders didn't suffer any damages because they got what they paid for: a seat in the stadium for the game, and there are no guarantees about outcome.
Judge Nicole Sheppard did not indicate how she would rule.
