A woman says she was approached by a man while at an Uptown bar Friday and touched in a way that meets the definition of sexual battery, The Times-Picayune | The New Orleans Advocate reports.

It's the third incident in recent weeks in which women have reported being sexually assaulted after visiting The Boot, a bar at Broadway and Zimpel streets popular with college students.

The woman in the most recent incident said she was approached early Friday morning inside the establishment by a young man claiming to be a Loyola student. She said he spoke Spanish to her then touched her without consent, after which she shoved him away from her.

In late August, a Loyola student reported she had been lured away from the Boot and sexually assaulted by multiple people in the Garden District. Not two weeks later, another woman said she had been assaulted at the Boot and woke up on the railroad tracks near South Carrollton and the river.
