New Orleans Police say robbers got away with canisters full of cash from an ATM in an armed robbery.
"Victim was working on ATM when vehicle pulled up next to him," police reports show. "Two unknown black males exited vehicle and told victim to open machine."
NOPD did not indicate how much the robbers got, but it was apparently a lot.
"Suspects took six canisters from the machine containing cash, re-entered vehicle and fled northbound on Elysian Fields."
It happened just before 11:00am on Tuesday in the 4200 block of Elysian Fields Ave.
