NOPD officers need your help to identify and a person accused of stealing NOPD gear from a vehicle.
The person pictured is also accused of committing multiple auto burglaries in the 500 block of Barracks Street.
An NOPD report says, “On Sunday, March 1, around 4:10 a.m., the unknown male reportedly shattered the window of the victim’s vehicle and stole several identifiable law enforcement items.”The victim says an NOPD reflective raincoat, an NOPD reflective traffic vest and an NOPD blue jacket with the NOPD badge and logo was taken from inside of the vehicle. The subject then fled the scene on a bicycle, heading toward North Rampart Street.
