Billboards have sprung up around the Baton Rouge area in tribute to LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Joe Burrow.
Burrow led the Tigers to a perfect regular season with Saturday's 50-7 win over Texas A&M. The senior celebrated his last game in Tiger Stadium with a custom jersey that read "Burreaux" before the game began.
"I thought it would be an awesome tribute to the state, to the university," said Burrow, who wore a jersey with the regular spelling of his name during the game.
Burrow spent three seasons as a backup QB for the Ohio State Buckeyes before transferring to LSU in search of an opportunity to play.
