Temperatures and humidity have fallen after the passing of a cold front early Sunday morning.
"Sunday looks to be sunny and pleasant," says local weather expert, WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin.
"Highs will only get into the mid 60s today and Monday," Franklin says.
"We will see the return of rain possibilities Tuesday through Friday, but no wash-outs."
Mid-week highs will stay in the mid 60s. Another cold front looks to move through Saturday morning, bringing some chilly temperatures for the last weekend of parades.
"Still too soon to say what weather we'll see for Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras."
