NFL referee Bill Vinovich, who was in charge of the officiating crew that somehow didn't see an obvious pass interference call and helmet-to-helmet hit in the NFC Championship Game last Sunday is also a college basketball referee, and was officiating the BYU-Saints Mary's game Thursday.
BYU is the alma mater of New Orleans Saints quarterback/everything else Taysom Hill.
