At today’s press conference with Governor John Bel Edwards, LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron urged everyone in Louisiana to follow the governor and the health official’s COVID-19 guidelines.
“I want to encourage everyone to follow the game plan,” said Orgeron. “I just sat in a meeting with the governor, it was the most organized and most intense meeting, the most informative meeting I have ever been in.” He adds, “I can promise you this; the state of Louisiana is fortunate to have governor Edwards as our leader.”
LSU’s head coach says the governor has many people working hard to get the people of Louisiana through the coronavirus crisis. “But we all know people from Louisiana, we are tough, we are resilient. I encourage you to follow the game plan. Just like I ask the Tigers.” He continues “We put eleven men on the field and we fight like tigers. Its about execution. I is about one team, one heartbeat.”
