The storm damage in Mandeville was caused by an EF-1 tornado.
The National Weather Service confirmed last night’s severe weather system did spawn a tornado which they say touched down on Kleber Street and moved east to highway 190.

The Mandeville police say the tornado torn down trees, blew debris on to roads and downed powerlines. At one point, Cleco's outage map showed more than 40 customers were without power.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Mandeville Police officers even helped neighbors with their storm clean up.
