Louisiana Congressman and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise charged today that Americans are going to hear more and more about impeaching President Trump. He claimed that this has been the Democrat's plan all along.
Scalise, who appeared this morning on WWL First News, complained that we have a major crisis on the border and yet all we hear about is impeachment.
"The committee that's supposed to be doing something about it is wasting all their time chasing down rat holes and conspiracy theories, instead of doing something about the problems facing this country," Scalise said.
Scalise says he heard nothing new on the comments from the Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
''There was no collusion between the president's campaign and Russia and that's what the probe was supposed to be all about, instead it was a two year witch hunt that cost over $30 million,'' said Scalise.
He said the Democrats have been pushing for impeachment since the day they won the majority.
