Baton Rouge Police say a man shot two officers Sunday.
One died, while the chief said the second was fighting for his life.
The police were responding to a call at a house in the Howell Park neighborhood of Baton Rouge.
Other officers arrested the suspect without further incident after an hours-long standoff after the shooting on Conrad Drive.
