Police in St. John the Baptist Parish say a 21-year-old woman is alive and in good health after she was apparently kidnapped.
Tyjanae Joseph was reported missing over the weekend after he door was kicked in.
"Joseph was found safe and in good health," the sheriff's office posted to Facebook. "Both subjects have been found."
The search for her started early Sunday.
"St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are on the lookout for Devin Bolden regarding the possible kidnapping of Tyjanae Joseph," the post said. "On Sunday, August 11, 2019, about 3:30 a.m., the St. John Sheriff’s Office received a call for service in reference to a male subject who kicked the door in and forced his way inside of a residence in Garyville. The male was identified as 29-year-old Devin Bolden."
Witnesses told deputies that Bolden assaulted Joseph and fled with her.
"Detectives believe Bolden fled with Joseph against her will."
