New Orleans Police are looking for a woman who allegedly celebrated her 60th birthday by stabbing another woman in the head and trying to set her on fire.
"Suspect and victim were engaged in verbal altercation," according to a police report. "Suspect armed herself with knife and stabbed victim in the head."
Investigators say when the 34-year-old victim retreated to the bathroom, the suspect went and got a gas can and book of matches.
"While victim was inside of bathroom, suspect poured gasoline under the door, lit a match and attempted to set house on fire."
When police arrived, the birthday girl was gone.
They identified her as, "Edna Means, Female, DOB: 07-30-1959 (Wanted)"
It happened around 4:45 Tuesday afternoon at a home in the 900 block of Tricou Street.
Public Information Officer Aaron Looney says, "The victim was checked by EMS on scene, but refused transport to a hospital. The suspect and victim are relatives."
