Dense fog gives way to warmer weather through the weekend

weather

Dense fog again for morning commuters. The spring-like warm weather continues through the weekend.

WWL-TV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “A weak cold front will move into SW Mississippi and North Louisiana on Friday before it stalls. A ridge of high pressure will build over the Gulf of Mexico and this will prevent the front from moving into our area. The front will be close enough to make it mostly cloudy with a slight chance for a few showers. It will stay warm and humid with high temperatures in the lower 80s.”
