Disney Cruise Lines says the slate of cruises out of New Orleans coming up in early 2020 have proven so popular that its cruise ships will return again in early 2021.
"Back by popular demand, the Disney Wonder will return to the bayou from late January through February 2021 with a series of magical voyages," the company announced on its web site. "A pair of four- and five-night cruises to the Western Caribbean kick off the season from New Orleans."
The four- and five-night cruises sail to Progreso, Mexico, on the Yucatan peninsula.
The company will also offer seven-night cruises to the Bahamas including Disney's private island resort, Castaway Cay, and a 14-night Panama Canal cruise.
"They'll start here, go through the Panama canal, and finish up in San Diego," said Steven Gauthier with the Port of New Orleans.
