A drive-by shooting killed a man in Reserve Wednesday night and left three others injured.

The sheriff's office says someone pulled up to a group of people outside a home in the 300 block of Homewood Place and opened fire on the gathering from inside the vehicle. Deputies arrived to find no victims on the scene, but a short time later learned of four men showing up at Ochsner Medical Complex needing treatment for gunshot wounds.

One of them, 20-year-old Kyree Jones of Reserve, died from his injuries. Two 21-year-old men and a 19-year old man were treated at the hospital and released.
