A man has been arrested in connection with a Friday drive-by shooting involving the residences of "Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson.
Roberston says someone shot multiple bullets into two homes on his family complex in Ouachita Parish, reports USA Today.
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office in Monroe, Louisiana, charged Daniel King Jr., 38, with one count of aggravated assault by drive-by shooting and one count of criminal neglect of family. King Jr. was booked into OCC and the bond was set at $150,000.
"Investigators are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding two residences struck by gunfire in the 3300 block of Arkansas Road in West Monroe," the sheriff's office announced on Friday. "Deputies responded to a report of someone shooting from a vehicle at that location at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday."
The property where the incident occurred belongs to Robertson.
According to the "Duck Dynasty" star, one of the shots went through the bedroom window of the home where son John Luke Robertson lives with his wife Mary Kate McEachern and their infant child.
Nobody in the family was injured.
"We were pretty shook up," Robertson told USA Today Network in an interview on Sunday. "It looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property." Robertson said 8-10 shots were fired.
Many family members are living at his and wife Korie's home during the coronavirus crisis, according to Robertson. This includes daughter Sadie Robertson, who also starred on "Dancing with the Stars," and her new husband Christian Huff.
"Nobody was outside at the time, but everybody had been out about five minutes before," Robertson told the outlet. "I had just gone to the store when it happened."
Investigators say witnesses observed several gunshots fired from a vehicle.
"Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white over brown or beige Ford F-250 with large aftermarket tires and rims."
The sheriff's office say the driver was described as a young white male, teens or early 20’s.
"Other occupants were in the vehicle but a description is not available. A surveillance camera photo of the alleged suspect vehicle is shown below."
