Essence Festival announced the lineup for its 25th anniversary. The concert series reads like a who's who of R&B.
The mainstage will feature performances by Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, and Grammy-winning artist H.E.R.
Acts also include Big Freedia, Morris Day, Sheila E., and Frankie Beverly.
Essence runs July 5-7 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Ticket packages start at $185 and are on sale now.
