Family demands action after another Hard Rock delay recovering bodies

Hard Rock

Loved ones are speaking out after New Orleans officials announced further delays and no timeframe for recovering the bodies of two workers still trapped under rubble at the partially collapse Hard Rock Hotel construction site.

Quinnyon Wimberly's brother Frank Wimberly Jr. told WWL TV, "We're not just going to sit back and be quiet anymore — sorry. My brother has been in there — in that building for almost ten months. That's approaching a year."

The remains of Wimberly and Jose Ponce Arreola have been under the ruble since October 12th.

Wimberly's family is demanding action.

"We've been quiet. We've been patient, but we can't be patient anymore," his brother said. "This is ridiculous."
