Jazz Fest today announced it is adding Fleetwood Mac to the lineup for Thursday, May 2. They will take the spot on the Acura Stage vacated when The Rolling Stones canceled their tour.
Jazz Fest has also rearranged the Thursday schedule so most stages will feature a full day of music. Originally, all stages but the Acura Stage were going to shut down so the Stones would be the only act playing the Fairgrounds at the time. Now, acts like Tom Jones, Ziggy Marley, and Mavis Staples will close out the day on the Gentilly and Congo Square stages and the Blues Tent.
A day-specific ticket is till required for May 2, but more tickets are now on sale, for $75.
The fest has not released any information on refunds for people who paid $185 to $250 for tickets when the Rolling Stones were scheduled to play May 2.
