Fog and mist starts off our Wednesday morning commute

If you are hitting the road this Wednesday morning you'll experience some foggy conditions and mist to go along with it.  

We are seeing some patchy fog and depending where you go it may be worse in some areas," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexandra Cranford.  "Temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s.  We could see a few showers affecting us today."


But most of the heavy rain will stay out to our West.  Better chances on Thursday.  

A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. this morning.

WEDNESDAY MORNING:Cloudy and cool with a 30% chance for spotty light rain or drizzle and patchy dense fog.  Lows around 59.  Wind NE 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY:Cloudy and mild with a 30% chance for spotty light rain or drizzle and patchy dense fog.  Highs around 69.  Wind NE/E 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT/THURSDAY MORNING:Cloudy and cool with a 40% chance for a few scattered showers or light rain.  Lows around 60.  Wind N/NE 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY:Cloudy and mild with a 50% chance for scattered showers or thunderstorms.  Highs around 66.  Wind E/NE 6-12 mph.

FRIDAY:Becoming partly cloudy, breezy, and cooler.  Lows in 50s.  Highs around 63.

SATURDAY:Mostly clear and cool.  Cold lows north of the lake around 39, protect pets, people and chilly south of the lake around 43.  Highs around 62.

SUNDAY:Mostly clear and mild.  Cold lows north of the lake around 39, protect pets, people and chilly south of the lake around 47.  Highs around 67.

MONDAY:Partly cloudy and mild.  Chily lows north of the lake around 46 and south of the lake around 50. Highs around 70.

TUESDAY:Mostly cloudy and mild with a 40% chance for a few scattered showers or thunderstorms.  Lows in 50s.  Highs around 71.
