Fog possible overnight before a nice Christmas day

We could see some fog forming overnight for our Christmas Eve.    

Christmas day should be nice for the kids bring their toys from Santa outside.  Look for partly to mostly cloudy and warmer. High temperatures will be around 70.  Christmas night will be mostly cloudy with lows in the 50s. 


"We will stay warm on Thursday and Friday, but expect plenty of clouds around with a few isolated showers thanks to an upper-level wave moving over us," said WWL-TV meteorologist Payton Malone.  "High temperatures will be in the lower 70s."

Mostly cloudy with spotty showers popping up on Saturday.  It will be warmer and more humid with highs in the mid 70s. The cold front will move through on Sunday morning with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Some of those could be severe.

WEDNESDAY - CHRISTMAS DAY:Sun/cloud mix and warmer. Highs around 70. Wind E 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY:Mostly cloudy and mild with a 20% chance for a shower. Lows north 54 and south near 58. Highs around 72.

FRIDAY:Mostly cloudy and mild with a 20% chance for a few showers. Lows north 56 and south 59. Highs around 70
