Twenty more people are in the hospital fighting coronavirus today in Louisiana.
It is the third consecutive day that the state reported an increase in hospitalizations after weeks of mostly steady decline.
The number of cases in Louisiana increased by 534 today, a higher number than we had been seeing typically in the last few weeks.
There were 24 more deaths reported too.
Officials are watching the numbers carefully to determine if the increases are a blip or evidence of a rising curve after the state had flattened the growth.
