
We started out Tuesday with a freeze warning on the Northshore in the River Parishes.
"BRRR! It is a very cold and clear morning with a light freeze for areas north and west of New Orleans," WWL TV Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum said.
Temperatures on the Northshore dipped into the upper 20s, with the Southshore in the 30s.
Nussbaum tomorrow starts with more 20s north of the lake and 30s on the Southshore.
"We will be cloudy and chilly with highs in the mid 50s Wednesday."
Rain returns for Thursday.
"An area of low pressure will move off the Texas Coast on Thursday and it will track right across the Louisiana Coast. This will spread scattered showers across the region from the morning and into Thursday night. Some downpours will be possible. We will warm up into the mid 60s. This system will be east of us by Friday morning with lows in the 40s north and 50s south. Friday will become partly cloudy and pleasant with highs in the lower 60s."

THURSDAY:Cloudy, warmer and more humid with a 70% chance for rain. Some downpours possible. Lows north around 42 and south around 50. Highs around 64.
FRIDAY:Partly cloudy, breezy and cooler. Lows north around 48 and south around 52. Highs around 61.
SATURDAY:Mostly sunny and cool. Lows north around 37 and south around 44. Highs around 62.
SUNDAY:Mostly sunny and cool. Lows north around 36 and south around 45. Highs around 62.
MONDAY:Partly cloudy and cool. Lows north around 42 and south around 47. Highs around 64.
