Gayle Benson diagnosed with Coronavirus

Gayle Benson, owner of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, has been diagnosed with Coronavirus.  

Mrs. Benson, 73, is receiving daily medical care for the viral infection.  

Mrs. Benson reportedly tested positive for COVID 19, after attending church on Sunday.

Reportedly, she did develop some symptoms, prompting the test for the virus.  

Saints spokesperson Greg Bensel says Mrs. Benson is 'doing fine and recovering at home.'

Benson is said to be taking business related calls and working as normal from home.

The Saints owner is not the only person within the organization to test positive.  

Head Coach Sean Payton was disgnosed early in March with the disease, after coming down with symptoms akin to the flu. 

According to Bensel, three players have tested positive since the start of training camp.
