June 20, 2019 The New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness is advising people who don't have air conditioning to seek public spaces that do have it, like shopping malls, public libraries, or NORDC recreation centers.
When it's hot outside, drink plenty of water and stay inside in air conditioning. If you don't have AC in your home, go to a public place like a @NOLALibrary, @NORDCommission rec center, or mall. #NOLAReady #HeatAdvisory pic.twitter.com/73zI6ioNEx
