Heat and humidity return

Cover Image

The Heat and humidity are back for the start of the week, some scattered storms are possible for your Monday.

WWLTV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “A weak disturbance aloft will move over us today. When you combine that with the sea breeze, we will have scattered showers and storms developing across SE Louisiana starting around midday and continuing into the evening. Some heavy rain is possible. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s and it will feel like the lower 100s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and muggy with lows in the mid to upper 70s. Tuesday will not have as much rain as the disturbance moves away from us. It will be partly cloudy with only stray showers. Expect more heat and humidity with highs in the lower to mid-90s.”
