Heavy rain today and rolls through into Wednesday

image

Heavy rain is expected today, and it will carry over into Wednesday before we heat back up later in the week.

WWL-TV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “It will be very humid over SE Louisiana, so it will not take much to set off scattered showers and storms. Some heavy rain will be possible due to the humid air over us, so watch out for street flooding. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s. Tonight will have more scattered showers and storms with some heavy rain. Lows will be in the 70s.”
