Its' not a money issue. WWL's Bobby Hebert says Davis wants to play with a team that is vying for championships. He said that may upset Pelicans fans, but Hebert says Davis has paid his dues.
"They could be mad, and what is the future of the franchise, and what direction they're going, you know, short-term, long-term, but I think they're more in tune that this would happen," Hebert said.
Hebert says management needed to build a stronger team around "The Brow," but failed to do so.
