Hollywood South keeps rolling out product for TV and the movies.
The cameras are being kept busy in the Crescent City.
More than a dozen TV and movie projects are either filming in New Orleans now, or will start filming in the next few months.
"It's quite incredible how this first quarter is shaping up. 2019 is certainly off to a roaring start," says Chris Stelly, Director of Louisiana Entertainment.
And this week, Louisiana Entertainment is celebrating its most recent success.
"'Green Book, which was filmed throughout the City of New Orleans ,was nominated for five Academy Awards, all in the major categories, including the Best Picture."
More than a dozen projects are on the books for Hollywood South in the next few months.
Stelly says they include at least seven television shows and six feature films that are either filming now or will start shooting by April.
So New Orleans will be seeing lots of stars on the streets of the city.
And, Stelly says the second quarter looks to be just as busy in New Orleans.
"There's certainly no sign of any slowdown or any stoppage there. And I'm sure that once we get through this first quarter of 2019, the second quarter will be knocking on the door and we'll be just as busy."
