WWL-TV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “A trough of low pressure and a front move into SE Louisiana today. We will have plenty of sunshine with just a slight chance for a coastal shower or storm. Highs will be in the mid-90s with the heat index 100-105. Tonight will be mostly clear and muggy with lows north in the lower 70s and south in the mid-70s."
