New Orleans Police say the discovery of human remains at the I-10 exit at Michoud Blvd. is being treated as a homicide.
"At about 10:55 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of human remains found at the location," police said in a statement. " At that time, the incident was being investigation as an unclassified death. Upon further investigation, detectives have determined that the deceased was a victim of a homicide."
