Hurricane Dorian now a category 4 storm and continues to get stronger with 140 mph winds.

At 7 p.m. the National Hurricane Center announced that Hurricane Hunters found a drastic drop in central pressure from 970 mb to 950 in 3 hours which means the storm is intensifying.

A possibility of the storm intensifying to a category 5 is not out of the question.

The NHC maintains landfall as a powerful category 4 on Tuesday, then a sharp but slow turn toward the north.

Most models keep the storm out of the Gulf of Mexico completely.
