The public relations firm for the developer that was building the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown New Orleans says an injunction has been issued preventing any work to tear down the collapsed site.
WWL-TV reports the demolition process will have to be agreed upon by all parties involved, then a judge will have to sign off.
It's possible the site, which partially collapsed in October, killing three workers, will remain looming over Canal Street for months to come.
