The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is hoping the public can help them identify an arson suspect who set fire to a Rolls Royce.
The incident happened early in the morning of September 16 in the 2900 block of Lime Street in Metairie.
"The suspects arrived to the scene in an light-colored Lincoln Town Car, believed to be a 1998-2011 model," the sheriff's office said. "The passenger of the vehicle took a gas can to the victim's vehicle, a 1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spur, and set the vehicle on fire. The passenger returned to the car and the pair fled."
A new Silver Spur in 1991 had an MSRP of more than $160,000. A Google search turns up a value of around $35,000 for one today.
