Jefferson Parish detectives investigate an early morning homicide in Marrero.
The Sheriff’s office says around 5:10 am, deputies responded to a report of a man lying in the street in the 1100 block of Martin Drive. When they arrived they found a male victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim was suffering from several injuries, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine his cause of death.
The sheriff’s office has not yet released the name of the victim, nor a suspect in the homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
