The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office says man is in critical condition after being shot early Sunday in Elmwood.
According to the JPSO, the shooting took place just before 1 a.m., in the 1080 block of Elmwood Park Blvd.
The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound, and was taken to an area hospital. Details of the incident are limited at this time as the shooting is still being investigated.
