BOLO: Shooting suspect wanted for attempted 2nd degree murder

An 18-year-old is wanted for attempted second degree murder after he is alleged to have shot his sister's boyfriend in the head.  

Damion Smith is accused trying to kill the victim on September 27th.  Sheriff's received a call to a residence on South Howard Avenue in Metairie.  

When deputies arrived they found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  

The man was taken to University Medical Center in New Orleans.  

The accused shooter's sister said her brother had shot him.  A motive for the crime is not known at this time.  

Smith is wanted on charges of attempted murder, obstructions of justice, illegally in possessing a weapon, and possession and intent to sell marijuana.
