The Krewe of Little Rascals rolls at noon in Metairie today.
The Krewe of Neferetiti has changed their parade's start time. The Krewe's parade will start at 1pm this afternoon in New Orleans East. The previous start time was at 11am.
Slidell has a double header with Slidellians at 1pm, followed by Perseus.
The Krewe of Zulu will crown its reigning queen for the 2020 Mardi Gras season today.
Last year, 19-year old Kaylin Rainey lead the royal court of Zulu.
She was the youngest woman ever to wear the crown.
She served along side her grandfather, George Rainey, who just happened to be the oldest crowned King of Zulu.
As is tradition, Zulu will make the announcement at Armstrong International Airport.
This year the event will take place in the new terminal, a much grander venue to welcome a new queen of the storied social aid and pleasure club.
