According to Broderick Turner of the LA Times the Lakers have pulled out of trade talks with the Pelicans for Anthony Davis. The reason given was that the Lakers feel the Pelicans are making "outrageous" requests.
Los Angeles has reportedly offered Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, two first-round picks, some expiring contracts and were willing to take on Solomon Hill‘s contract for Davis, but New Orleans was not biting. Turner adds that the Lakers scoffed at the Pelicans asking price of six to eight draft picks for the 26-year-old All Star.
