Saints fans were obviously disappointed in the effort put out by their team against the Falcons. Most fans could not believe the amount of mistakes made by the Saints against an Atlanta team that has struggled all season. So what went wrong?
"I guess they underestimated the team they were going to play, in this case, the Falcons, and they walk in and beat us," one man said. "Hopefully they wake up, come back next week and turn it over."
"Too many penalties, every time you turned around," said this lady who watched the game.
Louisiana college teams won their games, even the Pelicans won this weekend, and look at us (Saints) we lay an egg," this disgusted fan said.
"A blind man can see that this was a terrible game," another said.
This woman, while disappointed, was a little more optimistic."This hurt, it did," she said. "I'm very emotional. It's allright, we'll get 'em next time. Who Dat." As one fan put it after the LSU win on Saturday afternoon, the Saints loss was a "buzz kill."
The Saints get another chance next week when they play Tampa on the road. A noon kickoff on Sunday.
