Just how much trouble is Odell Beckham Jr. in after having a simple battery warrant issued for him?
Loyola law professor Dane Ciolino says the video evidence appears pretty cut-and-dried: "If that touching is unwelcome or unwanted, then that is a simple battery."
However, Ciolino is not sure prosecutors will find it worth their time.
"Should and will the DA accept charges and prosecute that? I frankly think that's doubtful," he said.
Ciolino said a civil remedy might be how this ends.
"It's not unheard of to reach a civil resolution that also involves the dropping of criminal charges," he said. "This case seems so silly that would hope it's going to go away on its own lack of weight."
