The owner of Leson Chevrolet in Harvey, apologizes and fires a dealership employee, who is also a member of the owner’s family after a social media post about a peaceful protest, goes viral.
In a statement, Leson Chevrolet, Dealer Principal, Lisa Rebowe said the employee who is a member of her family, was fired.
The Leson Chevrolet dealership is next-door to JPSO building where a large crowd of demonstrators gathered to speak out about police brutality.
In anticipation of the protest, the dealership relocated all of its vehicles on the lot to a secured area and used large box-vans to block off the glass showroom doors and windows.
