Thibodaux Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for forgery after cops say she made fraudulent charges on customers credit cards.

As an investigation unfolded, it was learned that an employee of a local fast food restaurant in the 300 Block of North Canal Boulevard had allegedly been capturing personal debit/credit card information from paying customers.

Police say the employee later identified as Sharnae Every, in turn took this information and began making fraudulent charges to the cards. A warrant was later issued for Ms. Every with a $10,000.00 bond.

Ms. Every was located and arrested on October 22.  After being booked, Ms. Every bonded out from the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex without incident.  Chief Zeringue would like to remind our community partners to be mindful when monitoring their bank statements.  If any fraudulent or questionable charges are ever located, please report this immediately to the correct jurisdictional agency.
