Louisiana "American Idol" winner to sing National Anthem at Saints playoff game

American Idol winner Laine Hardy will perform the National Anthem before the NFC Wild Card playoff game featuring the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings, according to Baton Rouge TV station WAFB.

The Livingston parish native became the first Louisiana resident to win American Idol when he was crowned the champion of the show's 17th season.
