Tickets are in high demand for the Auburn/LSU game.  LSU’s third top-ten matchup of the season is sold out and the only way to get into Tiger Stadium is buy getting tickets from the secondary market.  StubHub spokeswoman Erin Exum says there are about 5000 tickets up for grabs on their website right now.

“The average ticket price is about $200, but the get in price is still at $50, so we’ve got something for everyone’s budget," Exum said.  "People can get in there and cheer on whichever Tigers they want.”

Exum says this is a game of national and international demand.

“Nine different countries have bought tickets to this game and forty-eight states," she said.  "We’re seeing 35 percent from Louisiana and 7 percent from Alabama.”

Exum says the days of finding a reputable scalper are in the rearview mirror, so the safest way to buy tickets on the secondary market is through a verifiable ticketing source such as StubHub.

“Purchase with somebody who has a valued customer service team, that way you are not showing up at the gates and feeling embarrassed and sad that you can’t get in," Exum said.  "We want fans to feel confident entering the stadium.”
