Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards today announced 884 new coronavirus positive test results, bring the state total to more than 150,000 for the first time.
The Louisiana Department of Health today says there are now a total of 150,651 cases reported.
LDH also reported COVID 17 more deaths in the state.
There are 22 fewer people hospitalized in Louisiana with coronavirus compared to yesterday, with 851 patients.
