Police say a woman arrested for allegedly stealing money was searched at the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.

"During a consensual search of Rolland's person, a female correctional officer located $6,233 and a clear plastic bag containing approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine inside Rolland's vagina," the affidavit of probable cause stated.

What 23-year-old Ashley Beth Rolland said next may be even more shocking.

"Roland denied ownership of the methamphetamine," according to the arresting officers.

Yes, she allegedly said the drugs inside of her body cavity were not hers.

Rolland had been arrested after a man told police that she was staying at his West Monroe residence and stole $5000 from his dresser when he got in the shower.
